Going Your Way We can«t always find friends or compatible travelmates who want to go where we want and when we want. And while there are advantages to vacationing alone, it«s often frustrating when we have no one with whom to share our experiences and discoveries. You«re Among Friends Genesis Ek Balam offers a diversity of archaeological, ecological and cultural education tours for the inquisitive single travelerÉANDÉprovides the company of other lone travelers of similar interests. We provide privacy as well as the opportunity to share activities or simply dinner conversation. But relax, we«re not matchmakers. There are no icebreaker games or club theme songs-just intriguing, like-minded companions open to whatever life has to offer-with or without a partner. Customized Itinerary You participate in choosing from a menu of about 25 activities and tours, what programs will be offered during your stay-from guided cycle trips to local villages, caves and cenotes, to daytrips to the Caribbean or Flamingo watching. Common Ground: For Singles Genesis Ek Balam is designed for comfort without compromising your experience of authentic local culture and ecology. No Double Occupancy Requirements The singles program is provided based on a per person rate and you are not penalized by double occupancy requirements. All cabins and rooms are screened and have porches, hammocks and comfortable beds with fans or air conditioning. Our Maya Cooks The food we prepare is simple, healthful and based on local tradition and the availability of locally harvested ingredients. Economical Your price per person at $65 per day includes 3 meals ($15/day), a private caba–a ($30/day) and tours and activities ($20/day) (one week stay required). $455 1 week package
